Chicago: Saturdays Football + Good Vibes John - MUFC Kitted Up Party
I went to the recent Manchester United Kitted UP party hosted by Good Vibes John at Saturday's Football. The event brought out several other MUFC social media personalities as well. It was fun to see the variety of kits the supporters wore. I think the general consensus was that the reversible 2001 van Nistelrooy kit was the best in show, though the 1995 grey kit was also high on my list. All in all, a great night in Chicago to celebrate the Devils—and Umbro!
Chicago House AC - Home Closer / Fan Fest
With the season closer and Fan Festival approaching, I wanted to show up early and try to capture the staff preparing for the final match. The folks in the booth were a great team, and the production level reflected the excitement I experienced on the sidelines.
House AC VS Green Bay Glory (WPSL)
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Langhorst Field in Elmhurst, Illinois, the home team Chicago House AC edged out the Green Bay Glory in a contentious clash in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) that captivated fans until the final minutes.
House AC VS Wisloka - U.S. Open Amateur Cup
The most recent U.S. Open Amateur Cup knockout game saw a hard-fought win for Chicago House AC over Chicago Wisloka FC. The cold night air in Bronzeville did nothing to chill the intensity of the match.
Chicago House AC - Home Opener
I had an incredible night in Elmhurst watching the home opener for Chicago House AC VS Czarni Jaslo in the Midwest Premier Lg. They struck early and kept the pressure on in an exciting display that boosted their standing in the power rankings!
Favella FC's FIFA Tournament of Champions @ Embassy Public House
I had the pleasure of attending Favela FC's second annual Citywide FIFA Tournament of Champions. Embassy Public House hosted the event, serving up compelling drama and cool beverages throughout a long and competitive afternoon!
Chicago Fire FC VS 45000 Messi Fans
Chicago Fire FC recently hosted Inter Miami at Soldier Field, drawing a record-breaking crowd for an MLS match. The game was thrilling, and despite chants of 'Messi' echoing throughout the stadium, the Fire managed to earn a hard-fought point and reinforce the optimism of the new season!
Matchday @ MARZ Brewery
Mars Brewery in Chicago's McKinley Park neighborhood is quickly becoming one of the most exciting venues for soccer culture on the South Side. The space has hosted a range of Chicago Fire FC supporter groups—including Sector Latino, Las Adulcetias, and La Marga—and continues to collaborate with local soccer and design collectives like Lupen FC, Sidewalk FC, Crossbar Collective, and Stay True Supply.
Iron Cafe - Footy Popup
The Iron Cafe —a thoughtfully designed coffee and food experience on 37th Street and Iron in the Bridgeport neighborhood—draws inspiration from its owner's time living in Copenhagen, Denmark. Recently @___crossbar___ @sidewalk_fc , and @staytruesupply combined forces to host a Pop Up with some of the collection remaining up front for a more semi-permanent location.
Avondale Collective - Winter Pop-Up Bazaar
I attended the recent Crossbar Collective Winter Pop-Up Bazaar in Chicago, and once again, it was a beautifully curated space that reflected the group's passion for football. So many things caught my eye—here are a few of my favorites!
